As the Philanthropic Director of Family Forward Advocacy and the Owner & Designer of Denise Cox Designs, I am honored to collaborate with this extraordinary organization to bring greater awareness to families raising children with trauma and attachment challenges.

Family Forward Advocacy is more than just an advocacy program — it’s a lifeline for parents who often feel isolated and misunderstood. Our group is made up of mothers who have walked this difficult path, who have felt the pain of watching their children struggle to fit into a world that doesn’t always understand them — and, in turn, have felt like we didn’t fit in either.

While navigating broken systems and managing the unpredictable behaviors of our children, we too experienced trauma. We fought to provide the best care not only for our children but also for ourselves, often in silence.

This collaboration is my way of stepping beyond the confines of “normal” society to give a voice to those who need it most. Through Denise Cox Designs, I hope to inspire compassion, awareness, and support — because no parent should feel alone in this journey.
